"Asymmetric" captures beauty and introspection. The subject in this figurative painting is presented with a reflection of themselves, and though the figures are of the same person because of the different angles there are slight differences in appearance. This is representative of how we see and present ourselves to the world. There is always more within the individual and often the one's personality is much deeper and complex than perceived. I also wanted to play around with reflection and composition in the picture.
