Painting the Portrait, From Beginning to End, is a workshop that steps into the scary world of portrait painting, but uses an accessible and step by step approach.

For me, the most important thing to be successful as a painter, is understanding the process of painting, as well as, seeing the subject as a painter sees. This workshop is designed to lead beginning and amateur artists in stages, where each stage enforces the process of painting that goes from general to specific. It is also designed to help artists to not get intimidated by the details and see their subject in basic shapes and values.
