This is the second piece I did based on unconventional composition. The model is one of my favorites to work with due to her tattoos and dramatic features. I have chosen the very extreme framing of the figure as a way of expressing the edginess of the subject. I felt as if she deserved to be placed in the picture plane to make a point. I hope the piece will inspire the viewer to think outside of the box.
