Playing with ambiance in portraiture. I've always appreciated art that is subtle and mysterious. In this piece I am exploring those two elements within the context of portrait painitng. There are many rules a portrait artist learns while studying and honing their craft, but the excitement with art is that you can break the rules. This piece aims to do that.
