Chroma 2

Back in 2020 I did my first Chroma series. It was a special divergence from my normal work and pushed my artistic boundaries. Bold colors, dynamic brushwork, and expressive realism were some of the elements that were characteristic of my Chroma paintings. Chroma 2 still explores many of the same themes, but this time things feel different for me. I am leaning fully into those motiffs, pushing them even further, and playing with some new ones. I am letting myself follow the momentum.

 

Artists need inspiration. We need it to grow. Some inspirations are pleasant additions along our artistic journeys, while others are seminal moments... Chroma 2 feels like one of those moments for me. It feels like something new is beginning...
